Alissa Reid lives and paints in Belize on the picturesque island of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. The breathtaking backdrop of the Caribbean Sea has served as a canvas for recent artistic accomplishments.
Alissa has always recognized art as a universal language that transcends international boundaries. She has spent the past 4 years traveling the world - visiting museums, art galleries, speaking to and working with international artists, and living among local cultures. These experiences have translated into her art – a collection of personal, local and world notions.
Her Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of General Studies degrees have been instrumental in her development as an artist. Alissa also holds a teaching certificate in Fine Arts.
Alissa's works hang in many countries around the world such as Ukraine, Mexico, Belize, Australia, Canada, and USA.
