Alissa Reid has always recognized art as a universal language that transcends international boundaries. She spent 5 years traveling the world - visiting museums, art galleries, speaking to, teaching, and working with international artists, and living among local cultures. These experiences have translated into her art – a collection of personal, local and world notions.
Her Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of General Studies degrees have been instrumental in her development as an artist. Alissa's works hang in many countries around the world such as Ukraine, Mexico, Belize, Australia, Canada, and USA.
She currently resides in her hometown, Brandon, Manitoba, Canada with her husband Steve and son Lucas.
